The Nelson Police Department is investigating significant acts of vandalism discovered at the Nelson Tennis Club.
Police said in a press release that they received a report of mischief at the tennis club, located at 1001 Cottonwood Street, on Monday.
The department believes an individual, or individuals, spray-painted vulgar images and messages on the clubhouse, deck, railings, sidewalks, and basketball court sometime between 9 p.m. on Monday and 6 a.m. on Tuesday morning.
The damage is extensive, affecting multiple areas of the tennis club. Nelson Police are actively investigating the incident and are working to identify those responsible.
