The city of Trail understands getting certain projects done is all about timing.
This from councillor Robert Cacchioni as they will apply through the new Canada Building Fund for monies to go towards a second access road to KBRH – something the city has been working towards for years.
Cacchioni says it made sense to move forward on the idea after Interior Health recommended last month the facility in Trail should receive $40 million worth of renovations in the next couple of years.
The second access road would cost $2.3 million.
The Feds and Province are handing hundreds of millions of dollars for infrastructure projects.
