The lawyers representing a group of former Zellstoff-Celgar employees in Castlegar say their clients claim they were denied equality in the workplace.
The four women are part of a group action that the BC Human Rights Tribunal has agreed to hear.
Tamara Ramusovic is from Vancouver law firm Moore, Edgar, Lyster.
She says the women were non-unionized employees in supervisory positions but were not treated the same as their male counterparts.

One of the women alleges she was fired after complaining.
Celgar denies the allegations.
It’s not known when the human rights tribunal will hear the case.
