Postseason means fresh start for Nelson Leafs.

It’s been an up and down season for Nelson – who’ve had to release players for breaking team rules, have been plagued by injuries, and have seen their coach suspended last month for having an ineligble player in the lineup.

Leafs’ Captain Aaron Dunlap says they are eager for playoff hockey.

Nelson takes on the defending league champion Beaver Valley Nite Hawks in the first round – with game one in Fruitvale in Friday.
