Groups asking the city of Trail for grants will now have to fill out an application form.
Councillor Lisa Pasin says after sitting down with staff they’ve made two changes to their grants-in-aid policy.
The city will also be asking if the applicant is local and regional or provincial and federal to gauge where the funds may be most beneficial.
The city will also now waive up to 50% of rental fees for a local or regional initiative and only 25% for a provincial or national group.
