KIJHL: Div. Final resumes in Castlegar for GM3 vs. B.V

The Castlegar Rebels hope home ice helps them back into the Neil Murdoch Division Final as they host the Beaver Valley Nite Hawks in Game 3 Thursday night.
The Rebels are down 2-0 in the best of seven series after a pair of losses in Fruitvale.

Castlegar were 4-3 overtime losers in Game 1 Monday and fell short in a 6-2 final for Game 2 the next night.

The Head Coach of the Nelson Leafs is reflecting on his team’s early exit from the postseason.

David McLellan says the underlying theme was all the injuries going into the series.

McLellan adds they then lost two key blueliners early on and had a 17 year old call up between the pipes.
