The City of Trail is getting its ducks in a row to demolish two properties in preparation for this year’s major projects.
Crews have already begun hazardous waste removal at 1995 Riverside Avenue that will eventually be brought down in conjunction with the construction of the Pedestrian Pipe Bridge.
The Regional Fire Dept will actually demolish the property as fire practice.
The City has yet to confirm that exact date but will provide notice to nearby residents.
Hazardous waste removal on the property at 1525 Bay avenue will start Monday.
That building will eventually be removed to make way for the Riverfront Centre.
