Rossland approves wetlands project

Rossland council has given the green light to the wetlands project at the northern part of Jubilee Park.

Councillor Lloyd McLellan says there has been decades of effort to address the constant damp under the soil but it was never fixed.

This fall three holes will be dug to create natural ponds where the water will collect and there will be planting efforts to improve the eco-system.

The old basketball court will also be removed.
