Big snow boosts Whitewater morale:manager

What a difference some snow can make for our local ski resorts.

Whitewater Ski Resort outside of Nelson received 28 cm over the last 24 hours after not getting a significant dumping since the beginning of February.

Outside Operations Manager Colby Lehman says it has had a huge impact for them.

Lehman says the recent snowfall gives them confidence to stay open til the planned closed date of April 6th.

He adds they currently have as much terrain opens as possible and the new snow will help improve grooming.

Whitewater currently has a base of 227 cm.
