Successfukl Saints powerful recruitment team for Selkirk

The President of Selkirk College is applauding everyone associated with their successful hockey program following their hat-trick of BC inter-collegiate titles.

Angus Graeme has praised the Saints players and athletics dept staff.

But he’s also thanking the local businesses who are sponsors and the huge fan base.

He remembers when only a few dozen spectators showed up for their games three years ago.

Graeme says the hockey program has become a powerful recruitment asset with up to 28 young students who probably wouldn’t be at the college otherwise.

But he adds the players are great ambassadors and play an important role in boosting interest in the college.
