Improvements are coming for waste transfer stations in Kaslo and Balfour.
But the RDCK will need to shut them down for many weeks to complete the upgrades.
This will happen one at a time.
Kaslo’s will be closed for seven weeks starting early May.
Once that work is finished the Balfour transfer station will close for eight weeks in late June.
