The chief of the Lower Kootenay Indian Band says the thought of having a casino at Ainsworth Hot Springs has not been discussed.
Jason Louie is speaking to concerns he’s already heard following the announcement the band is buying the popular resort south of Kaslo.
He says there are many things about the resort that work well.
The band is a partner in the St Eugene mission golf and casino resort near Cranbrook.
They expect to take ownership of Ainsworth Hot Springs April 15th.
