Near record-setting April weather

Some pretty warm days were recorded by the South East Fire Centre weather office last month.

Record specific-day maximum temperatures of 23.6 C, 26.5 C and 28 C were set on the 20th, 21st and 28th respectively.

The all-time record high for April is 28.2 C.

April received only half the normal amount of precipitation with 29.5 mm of rain and no snow.

A record daily minimum temperature was set during the early morning of the 15th when it was  -3.4 C.
