There has been a rise in enrolment at Glenmerry Elementary. That’s good news.
But as Kootenay Columbia School Board Chair Darrel Ganzert explains the cuts to space over the years means kids will need to be accommodated in two new portable classrooms.
Ganzert figures the portables may be needed for at least a few years.
But if the enrolment rise is sustained then they’d apply to the ministry for a permanent addition at glenmerry
