Transit riders in Nelson will be monitored by closed circuit TV starting in April.
It’s part of a province-wide program to cut down on bad behavior on board and give them a way to review incidents.
BC Transit spokesman Jonathon Dyck says they’re keeping privacy concerns in mind.
Dyck adds the tape is only kept for seven days.

It’s already been piloted in Victoria and Kamloops.
