Forward Michael Rand is excited to be donning the green and white and playing for a first place team.
However, the 20 year old Rand says the Grand Forks Border Bruins – who are last in the division – were integral in his development as a player.
Rand – who is in his third year in the league – has 14 goals and 25 points on the campaign.
He says he’s excited to play in a city like Nelson but especially on the big ice surface of the NDCC that he believes will play to his advantage.
