NYDC shows off upgrades Saturday

And a big unveiling tomorrow for the Nelson and District Youth Centre.

Major renovations and improvements to the space are expected to see even further growth in terms of youth users at the facility.

The upgrades include what’s being described as a vastly improved indoor skating experience, as well as a designated area for drop-in athletics and organized sports.

There’s an additional 1,000 sq ft of space for games and other programming.

There’s a public open house showing off all the improvements  Saturday from 12-30 to 4 pm.
