Evacuation Alert lifted on West Arm wildfire

The RDCK has released the following statement 5:40 pm Monday

The RDCK has lifted (cancelled) the Evacuation Alert for residents near the Sitkum Creek/Duhamel wildfire

on a recommendation from the Wildfire Management Branch.

The RDCK thanks residents for their cooperation during the evacuation alert and expresses deep gratitude to the fire fighting crews who have been working hard to keep our residents and their homes safe.
