Castlegar city council says no to letting your dogs run free.
New signs and stricter fines will be put into place to make sure that dog owners keep their animals on a leash.
These developments stem from a number of complaints regarding off-leash dogs at Millenium Park.
Councilor Deb McIntosh hopes that better enforcement will help combat the issue.
The minimum fine for dogs at large will be $100.
