Not for the first time in recent days an open fire has got out of control in the Trail area.
The regional department responded to a shed fire on Kenny Rd in Fruitvale Monday.
They say the occupant was burning grass.
In a separate incident a woman in Trail needed to be taken to hospital because of smoke inhalation after a small kitchen fire on 3rd Avenue.
