Planned power outages will have residents of Grand Forks without electricity for a short time this morning.
This is being done so the city’s electrical department can conduct a system upgrade.
Parts of the city will be without power from 8:30am until 11:00am.
Some of the businesses effected include the Shell gas station, Gilly’s as well as Pearly Elementary.
A second power outage is planned for Saturday, with power being cut to a lager residential area.
