Teen in court today

A teen accused of making a threat at Mount Sentinal School in South Slocan is scheduled to appear in court today.

18-Year old Denver Skey has been charged with two counts of uttering threats in connection with an incident in June.

He is allegedly facing a separate charge stemming from an incident in Nelson.

Details around the nature of the threat haven’t been released.

But the school was evacuated and temporary closed.

There is a publication ban on the evidence.
