Organizers of Nelson’s Cyswog’n’fun triathlon have announced that after 34 years the event won’t be back.
Bill Harbord says they just didn’t have the energy and people to keep it going.
But Harbord says he’s very grateful to their volunteers and sponsors.
The triathlon, which was among the oldest races in Canada, was held annually on the August long weekend.
Harbord says the Nelson Athletic Association will continue to put on smaller-scale races.
