Nelson’s Italian Society has reached a deal to share space with the Rod and Gun Club.
Vince DeVito says they’ll add a commercial kitchen to the club’s hall in exchange for periodic use of the building.
DeVito says the Italian Society has never had its own home since it was founded 44 years ago.
Right now their kitchen equipment is stored in the Civic Centre.

Rod and Gun Club president Wally Kampen says it’s win-win.
Kampen says the two groups have been in talks since last May.
