Nelson’s mayor is impressed with the data the city’s street outreach team has been collecting.
But Deb Kozak says she’s surprised at how busy they were between October and the end of December.
She expects the demand for their services will only grow as the weather warms up.
The outreach team told council last week that in their first three months they had 529 interactions with 111 people and provided 857 services.
