A local Search and Rescue team is frustrated by an act of vandalism to their new $200,000 command vehicle.
President of Nelson SAR Brian Cooles says someone has keyed the vehicle with a four-letter word.
The incident may have happened at Mountain Station parking lot Wednesday evening or perhaps when the vehicle was on public display in town recently.
He says SAR is not a law enforcement agency in any way so he doesn’t understand why someone would do this.
