There’s been a change of heart by some Nelson city councillors on the issue of handicapped parking.
They’ve voted to put off adopting a by-law that would have seen time limits placed on those spaces.
Councillor Michael Dailly says he’s since heard concerns about the move.
The by-law also would have ended free handicapped parking in metered stalls.
Council deadlocked on the matter last night, but it’s expected to be back on the table once councillor Janice Morrison returns.
