Salmo village council will look over a couple of proposals from their economic standing committee.
One suggestion would see a dog park created at an abandoned lot on Main Street.
Mayor Stephen White says lots of people pass through Salmo with their furry family members.
The other proposal is to establish a heritage conservation program to identify and preserve Salmo’s physical, cultural and social assets.
Council will look into these suggestions in October.
