The Nelson Nordic Ski Club received some good news this week.
They received $10, 000 in funding from the provincial government’s BC Rural Dividend Grant.
President of the club, Louise Poole, says it’s going to plans for a new lodge.
She says it would remain in the same area on Highway 6 at the base of the hill going up to Whitewater.
Poole says they need a bigger space for increasing membership numbers, events, and programming.
