The City of Nelson could soon have new regulations for lane way housing.
City staff will be presenting new recommendations at today’s council meeting based on a public feedback process that received 280 responses.
Alex Thumm with Development Services says there will be number of options presented.
Thumm says there’s only 11 lane way houses in Nelson, but with new regulations they’re hoping to encourage more.
Thumm says the Advisory Planning Commission has also provided feedback on the recommendations which council will be taking into consideration as well.
