No damage or injuries after rock fall near Kaslo

No road closures or vehicle damage last Monday after a small rock fall on Highway 31.

The Ministry of Transportation says it happened 18 kilometers north of Kaslo around 6:00am.

Yellow Road and Bridge had the highway cleared before the end of the day.

The Ministry says rock falls are generally higher at this time of year in the Kootenays because of the very wet conditions and the freeze/thaw cycles.
