Wildfire smoke remains in local skies

The skies is some parts of our region have cleared while a wildfire smoke advisory remains in effect in other places.

Castlegar and area, parts of the West Kootenay and Kootenay Lake are under the advisory because of wildfire smoke from various sources in BC.

The Smoky Skies Advisory for the Boundary was lifted Sunday.

Anyone with heart and lung conditions as well as infants and the elderly are among the demographic that should be concerned with exposure to the particulates in the air shed.
