An important addition to health care in the Slocan Valley.
Interior Health has hired an experienced Nurse Practitioner who will be based at the Health Centre in New Denver.

The Nurse Practitioner will fulfill many primary health care roles and help ease pressure on the two doctors based in New Denver.
The hope is this will also take stress off the ER which has been handling lots of non-emergency cases.
The clinic will start accepting new patients in December.
