Black Productions announces auditions for SpongeBob SquarePants

Black Productions is excited to announce open auditions for the upcoming production of SpongeBob SquarePants: The Musical. This vibrant and wildly imaginative show, based on the hit animated series, will make a splash at the Capitol Theatre from May 22-25, 2025.

Black Productions invites performers over the age of 18 (no exceptions), of all backgrounds, and experience levels to audition for a variety of roles in this lively and colorful production. Auditions will be held on January 25th and 26th at the Selkirk College Music School Building, Patenaude Hall, 820 10th St. Aspiring cast members can reserve their audition slots or request additional information by emailing [email protected]. Based on Nickelodeon’s beloved animated series, SpongeBob SquarePants: The Musical takes audiences to Bikini Bottom, where SpongeBob and his friends must work together to save their undersea home from an impending disaster. Packed with humor, heart, and an eclectic score featuring music from legendary artists, this show is a celebration of resilience, friendship, and creativity.
