KIJHL: Nite Hawks under the weather but still flying above the rest

A flu-ridden Beaver Valley Nite Hawks club is still prevailing on top of the Neil Murdoch Division.

The Nite Hawks won back to back games this weekend to start 2015 and are unbeaten in 11 of their last 12 contests.

Forward Taylor Stafford says quite a few of them aren’t feeling 100 per cent but it’s part of a long season and they’ll keep battling through it.

The Nite Hawks have a five point lead over the Nelson Leafs for first in the division.

B.V is back in action Friday when they visit Spokane.
