After the first big snow storm cycle of the season the city of Nelson is calling on residents to be aware of on-street parking regulations.
Director of Public Works Colin Innes says vehicles should be parked on the odd or even-numbered side of the street depending on the date.
Vehicles must not be parked in the same spot for more than 72-hours at a time and they should be cleared of snow to help plow operators see them.
Innes figures crews will need most of Tuesday to get on top of the deluge.
