Nelson police figure they’ve arrested a couple of women who may be responsible for a number of shoplifting incidents in the area.
Sgt Dino Falcone says on Thursday the 53 and 36 year old allegedly walked out of a local retail store without paying for some valuable items.
They then drove to a grocery store and walked off with a substantial amount of stuff.
Falcone says the younger woman has an outstanding warrant.
The older woman is from Castlegar.
He’s not naming the actual stores involved.
