Approximately 90 FortisBC customers – including all of Castlegar’s Industrial Park businesses – were without power earlier Friday.
The company received a report of a transformer being damaged in the Grandview Heights area.

Allison says they are not sure who the snowplow belonged to.
He adds since the outage involved a large number of businesses they worked as fast as possible to restore power – which was back on just after 11 am.
