The Ministry of Transportation and roads maintenance crews have been working to address up to 30 different incidents following the heavy rain and localized flooding over the holiday weekend.
The biggest project will be at Goose Creek Road at Shoreacres where the road and bank collapsed into the river.
District Highways Manager Hugh Eberle says the few affected residents can at least walk around the closure at the moment.
The repair will be an expensive one.
He’s hoping to have it fixed later this week.
