The Taghum Community Hall just outside Nelson has its grand opening Saturday after a $300,000 renovation project.
Local Area Director Tom Newell says its been over five years in the making and he’s thanking Gosney Construction for their efforts.
The society that runs the hall – which is located near Nelson on Highway 3 – is hosting a community event from 1 pm till 4 pm.
