The management team at Grand Forks is very happy with the re-hiring of their CAO, but the new mayor isn’t sharing his personal feelings.
Doug Allin departed suddenly in November in the wake of the election result that brought in Frank Konrad. The new council has decided to take Allin back after his name was put forward in the hiring process.
But Konrad isn’t saying much.
Konrad says the city needs good,strong leadership and Allin’s credentials exemplify that.
The reasons for his departure and who suggested he be brought back are subject to secret in-camera council decisions.
