MML: Kootenay Ice program helping ready young players

The Kootenay Ice program benefits young players but also surrounding Junior B teams.
This from Head Coach Rob Wright as the team wrapped up another season in the basement of the league standings.

However Wright says with 13 of their 21 players getting experience in the KIJHL this season – it shows the program is developing young talent.

Two Ice alums were in the top three in scoring for the Beaver Valley Nite Hawks this season and one even netted the Game 5 double OT winner last week to eliminate the Nelson Leafs from the playoffs.
