Saturday buses for West Kootenay

BC Transit has announced improvements to service in the West Kootenay.

Starting next week a Saturday service is being introduced in Castlegar and on the regional connectors linking the Queen and Silver Cities.

Spokesperson Meribeth Burton says the changes will begin in Castlegar on both local routes.

And they’ll also include three round trips on both the route 98 Columbia Connector to Trail and the route 99 Kootenay connector from Selkirk College to Nelson.

A Saturday round trip has also been added to the Slocan Valley’s route 20.

And Nelson’s number 10 North Shore route has had its Saturday schedule revised to help link up the regional service.
