Conroy:Where’s the value in AGLG?

Plenty of heat from the Official Opposition this week for the Liberal’s very slow-moving Auditor General for Local Government (AGLG).

So far the office’s $5.2 million budget over two years has produced just one report … on Rossland.

MLA for Kootenay West Katrine Controy questioned the value of that in the BC Legislature.

Minister responsible Coralee Oakes insists the work will save taxpayer dollars.

But a leaked report suggests 7 of the 10 people in the AGLG’s office aren’t happy and there’s no clear direction.
