Semi-trailer crashes on Highway 3

A transport truck crossed the centre line on Highway 3 today near South Slocan and side-swiped a truck.

But RCMP say there were only minor injuries.

It’s being chalked up to driver inattention.

The road was briefly closed but is now open to single lane traffic with 20-minute delays.

Flaggers will remain on the scene until the semi-trailer (pictured) is out of the ditch.
