Grand Forks will dip into its own pockets for some follow-up expenses after a $2.1 million renovation of city hall.
Administrator Sarah Winton says council has now approved $10,000 more for office furniture and appliances after not having to pay for much of the reno.
City hall needed upgrades even before it became the target of an arson attack in 2013.
Winton explains they would have still needed items like new shelves and filing cabinets if the fire hadn’t occurred.
