Trail Airport to get enviro plan

More house keeping for the City of Trail as they’re into the second year of running their Regional Airport.

Council approved the $7,300 to hire a consultant to create an Airport Environmental Management Plan.

Here’s Councillor Kevin Jolly.

The plan will outline activities that prevent risks to human and overall ecosystem health.

It will also collect pertinent environmental data.

Other members of council referred to the plan this week as the last “building block” of Nav Canada’s approval process.

The City took over ownership of the Airport from the RDKB in February of last year.
