Walk with your doc

There are a couple of local “walk with your doc” events this week.

The Nelson Medical Associates Clinic is holding their second annual outing this evening.

Dr Jim Noiles will lead the walk from the bridge end of Lakeside Park from 5:30 pm.

There are also two events on Thursday.

Dr Libby McCoid hosts a walk from the Beaver Valley Clinic in Fruitvale. And Dr Chuck Burkholder and Nurse Practitioner Donna Gibbons lead the walk in New Denver from the Community Health Centre.

They happen at 5:30 pm as well.

“Walk with your doc” is all about promoting fitness for general health.
