Nelson medical clinic public hearing

The Public Hearing goes this evening for the proposed new medical clinic opposite the hospital in Nelson.

Anyone who is in support or against the project is encouraged to speak at the public forum which will be at Council Chambers from 6 pm. Council could then make a decision afterwards.

A group of doctors who run a downtown clinic want to build a new facility on part of three lots currently designated residential on View Street.

Neighbours have complained about noise, traffic and privacy issues. The proponent has been working with the city to address those concerns.
