Rossland will decide next week what planned project will have a lasting legacy and help land new federal funding.
The Alpine City is looking to apply to the Canada 150 Community Infrastructure program that celebrates Canada’s 150th birthday.
The two original recommendations were to apply for funding to put towards the Uptown station or the Star Gulch recreation area.
However, Mayor Kathy Moore says many more ideas could be appropriate recipients.
The program will offer up to 50% of the total project costs – up to a maximum of $500,000.
